Penajam Paser Utara Moves Toward Value Added Waste Downstreaming
Penajam Paser Utara Regency, under the leadership of Regent H. Mudyat Noor, S.Hut., has begun its transformation in waste management toward a circular economy. With daily waste generation exceeding one hundred tonnes, the region sees significant potential to turn waste into valuable industrial feedstock. Its latest initiative with strategic partners is directed toward creating a processing system that is efficient, sustainable, and capable of opening new economic opportunities for local communities.
Green Defense Technology: Green Innovation Synergy for Regional Resilience in Bali, NTB, and NTT
The meeting between Major General (Ret.) Dr. I. E. Djoko Purwanto and the Commander of IX/Udayana Regional Military Command, Major General TNI Piek Budyakto, opened a strategic dialogue on Green Defense Technology as a response to non-military challenges in Bali, NTB, and NTT. Supported by modern technologies that reduce operating expenditure (OPEX) and generate value-added outputs, as well as a planned pilot project at the YonTP (Territorial Development Infantry Battalion) in Sumbawa, this initiative reinforces the commitment to position waste management not merely as a burden, but as a source of strength for energy, the green economy, and regional resilience.
Mayor of Kupang Visits WITS Group to Explore Sustainable Waste-to-Energy Solutions
On Friday, April 24, 2026, the Mayor of Kupang, dr. Christian Widodo, visited WITS Group to discuss strategic solutions for sustainable waste management in Kupang City. During the presentation session, WITS Group outlined several major challenges currently faced by the city, including the increasing volume of municipal waste which has exceeded 200 tons per day, limited access to clean water, and the urgent need to develop green industries capable of creating long-term economic value for the region.
DLH Tangerang City Conducts RDF Technology Trial at WITS Group
On April 6, 2026, DLH Kota Tangerang visited WITS Group to conduct a Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) technology trial using the Krigsmann Ventra Ultra Jet Turbine Dryer. The test demonstrated a significant reduction in moisture content from 52.3% to 21.2% within approximately 30 minutes, meeting the cement industry’s maximum moisture threshold for alternative fuel use and highlighting the technology’s potential to support more effective and sustainable waste management solutions.

Pada Jumat, 24 April 2026, Wali Kota Kupang, dr. Christian Widodo, mengunjungi WITS Group untuk membahas solusi strategis dalam pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan di Kota Kupang. Dalam sesi presentasi, WITS Group memaparkan sejumlah tantangan utama yang saat ini dihadapi kota tersebut, termasuk meningkatnya volume sampah perkotaan yang telah melampaui 200 ton per hari, keterbatasan akses terhadap air bersih, serta kebutuhan mendesak untuk mengembangkan industri hijau yang mampu menciptakan nilai ekonomi jangka panjang bagi daerah.
DLH Kota Tangerang Lakukan Uji Coba Teknologi RDF di WITS Group
Pada 6 April 2026, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kota Tangerang mengunjungi WITS Group untuk melakukan uji coba teknologi Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) menggunakan Krigsmann Ventra Ultra Jet Turbine Dryer. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan penurunan kadar air yang signifikan dari 52,3% menjadi 21,2% dalam waktu sekitar 30 menit. Angka tersebut telah memenuhi batas maksimum kadar air yang dipersyaratkan oleh industri semen untuk penggunaan bahan bakar alternatif, sekaligus menunjukkan potensi teknologi ini dalam mendukung solusi pengelolaan sampah yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
WITS Group Strategic Review: Organic Waste Challenges and Energy Opportunities at Pasar Induk Kramat Jati
On August 22, 2025, a WITS Group visit to Pasar Induk Kramat Jati (Jakarta’s largest market) revealed a significant finding: a “mini landfill” within its boundaries, overwhelmingly composed of organic waste. With the market alone producing 150-200 tons of waste daily, WITS Group views this as a key strategic opportunity. Instead of being a problem, this massive waste stream can be processed into a stable energy source for Indonesia’s power plants (PLTU), turning a liability into a tangible solution.
WITS Group Conducts Strategic Visit to Rorotan RDF Plant to Advance Urban Waste Solutions
On July 29, 2025, WITS Group and strategic partner PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi (WIKA IKON) conducted a strategic visit to the Rorotan RDF Facility, the world’s largest, to analyze its operations (2,500 tons/day) in addressing Jakarta’s waste crisis (7,500+ tons/day). While the facility is a step forward, the scale of the problem remains immense. The visit affirmed that Jakarta needs real, integrated solutions—not just machines—and WITS Group and WIKA IKON are committed to pioneering them.
WITS Group Achieves Ministry of Defense Certification, Making Its Weaponry Oil the Official Standard for the TNI
Through a strategic collaboration with PT Petrosorb Indonesia, WITS Group successfully obtained certification from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia in a ceremony held on October 8, 2025. Our Weaponry Oil product has been officially designated as the new standard for all branches of the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces). We are proud to contribute to supporting the national defense industry.
WITS Group, PT Alkindo Mitraraya, and PT Buhmwoo Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development and local production of a multifunctional CLP lubricant. The partnership emphasizes domestic processing and TKDN compliance, with the goal of strengthening Indonesia’s industrial self-reliance in high-performance lubricant solutions.
WITS Group held an audience with the Regent of Kendal, Commission C of the Regional House, and the Environmental Agency to introduce Jono Technology—an AI-powered smart waste processing system. The technology produces five valuable outputs including plastic pellets, metals, recycled aggregates, organic fertilizer, and Enercycle Fuel (ECF), all with potential industrial applications across the Kendal Industrial Area.
As part of WITS Group’s ongoing commitment to advancing industrial innovation, “Workshop Day Copromec” was carried out in collaboration with three prominent aluminum die casting manufacturers in Indonesia. The series served as a platform to deepen technical understanding, address real-world operational challenges, and introduce Copromec’s high-precision solutions designed to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance in die casting operations.
As part of its commitment to sustainable waste management solutions, WITS Group, along with its technical team, has conducted visits to several locations in Indonesia to meet with local governments. The purpose of these visits is to understand the waste management challenges on the ground and assess the conditions at each location, in order to tailor Waste-to-Energy (WtE) solutions that can provide real and sustainable impact.
On May 6, 2025, WITS Group, through its business unit Jono Enviro Indonesia, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) to develop Waste-to-Energy (WtE) solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI). This collaboration aims to address Indonesia’s growing waste crisis while accelerating the country’s transition to clean energy sources.
This partnership will also support Indonesia’s Net Zero Emission target by 2060, contributing significantly to environmental and energy sector transformation.
On February 12, 2025, The WITS Group Team attended a Preliminary Audience with Cilegon Mayor Helldy Agustian, PLN’s Business Group Directors, and leading academics from the Institute of Technology PLN. This engagement explored waste-to-energy solutions and included a visit to TPSA Bagendung to observe Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) processing, followed by an exclusive tour of one of Indonesia’s largest power plants.
